Once AccountMap.ai is installed, you need to add it to your Company record layout. HubSpot doesn’t show new cards automatically — you pin them once, and everyone using that record view sees the same thing.
Add the card
- Open any Company record in HubSpot.
- Click Customize record in the top-right corner.
- HubSpot opens the record editor. You’ll see your current tabs (Overview, Activities, etc.) and the cards on each tab.
- On the middle pane (the main content area, not the right sidebar), click Add cards.
- Search for
AccountMapand drag the AccountMap.ai card into the position you want. We recommend placing it at the top of the Overview tab — the card is most useful as the first thing a rep sees when they open a record. - Click Save and exit.
The card now appears on every Company record that uses this view. If your team has multiple record views (for example, one for Prospects and one for Customers), repeat the steps for each.
Full card vs sidebar card
AccountMap.ai ships two card variants:
- AccountMap.ai (full) — the recommended option. Shows Account Health, Stakeholders, Levels, an Activity tab with Deal Coverage, and a People tab. Opens the full Account Map view in a modal.
- AccountMap.ai Sidebar — a compact version for the right-hand sidebar. Shows health and stakeholder count only. Useful if you already have the full card on another tab and want a quick at-a-glance view.
Most teams use the full card on the Overview tab and skip the sidebar variant. You can add both if you want — they read from the same underlying data.
Permissions
Anyone with access to the Company record sees the card automatically. There’s no separate permission to grant, no seats to assign, and no per-user setup. If a teammate can read the Company in HubSpot, they can use AccountMap.ai on it.
Troubleshooting
The AccountMap.ai card isn’t in the Add cards list. The app isn’t connected to this portal. Return to Install AccountMap.ai and verify it shows up under Settings → Integrations → Connected Apps.
I added the card but it says “No contacts associated with this company”. The card reads from contacts that are associated with the company in HubSpot. Open the Contacts section on the record and associate at least one person with the company. The card will refresh automatically.
I don’t see Customize record. That button only appears for users with permission to edit record views. Ask a HubSpot admin to add the card for you — once it’s added to the view, everyone using that view sees it.
